Step into a magical world inspired by the enchanting Flower Fairies created by Cicely Mary Barker. These captivating illustrations—and the dolls they inspired—sparked my own love for all things whimsical. Hours of playing fairies in the garden gave me a beautiful childhood and fuelled my creative adulthood.

Each month, I’ll select one of these gorgeous illustrations, mainly from the Fairies of the Garden collection, as the muse for a unique colourway. The hues will be carefully crafted to reflect the charm of the fairy’s world, bringing their magic to life in yarn and fibre.

🌟 How to Join the Club:

The Flower Fairy Club is designed with flexibility in mind:

• Pay-as-you-go: Purchase the months you want, when you want.

• Recurring subscriptions: Choose to pay monthly, or prepay for 3, 6, or 12 months. Payments are taken before the first club shipment (e.g., for a 3-month subscription, you’ll pay upfront for all 3 months + postage, and receive monthly deliveries).

Subscriptions come with a small discount!

Pick the magical bundle that suits your crafting style:

1. Single Skein: A 100g skein inspired by the month’s fairy.

2. Sock Set: A 100g skein with a coordinating 20g mini.

3. Mini Set: 5x 20g minis featuring semi-solid and speckled colours inspired by the fairy.

4. Fibre Braid: A 100g braid of hand-dyed fibre matching the main skein.

Yarn-only options include just the yarn for simplicity.

All yarn is lovingly hand-dyed in small batches (4 skeins), ensuring unique and artistic results. No two skeins are identical—think of them as sisters, not twins. Alternate skeins for larger projects to achieve a cohesive look.

• 4 Ply/Sock Weight: 100g, 425m/464yds, 75% Merino, 25% Nylon

• Sparkle 4 Ply/Sock Weight: 100g, 425m/464yds, 70% Merino, 20% Nylon, 10% Stellina

. Aran/Worsted Weight: 100g, 166m/181yds, 100% SW Merino

• Chunky/Bulky: 100g, 70m/76yds, 100% Merino

• Super Chunky/Super Bulky (Plumpy): 150g, 80m/92yds, 100% SW Merino

• Fibre Braid: 100g, 90% SW Merino, 10% Silk

🌸 Care Instructions:

This yarn is made with Superwash Merino wool and can be machine washed on a gentle wool cycle. However, for best results and to ensure the longevity of your creations, I recommend handwashing in warm water with wool-safe detergent and air-drying.

🌟 Additional Notes:

• Hand-dyed yarns can vary in tone, with different bases taking dye differently (e.g., sparkle has a grey base, while suri appears softer and more pastel).

• I work in a smoke-free, dog-friendly home.

• UK orders have shipping options at checkout. For international orders, I use Royal Mail Tracked for peace of mind (though some destinations may only allow ‘Signed’ shipping). Any shipping overpayments will be refunded.
